Working without signal
WFCC keeps a local copy of your profile, tasks, reports, visa records, chats, documents, contacts, call rooms and notifications, so you can open them without a connection. Downloaded files and queued changes sync when you are back online.
What is queued while offline
Section titled “What is queued while offline”These actions are saved in the send queue on your device and sent in order when the connection returns:
- creating and editing tasks and reports, submitting and reviewing reports, and attaching files to them;
- comments;
- profile changes and profile photo;
- adding and deleting documents;
- contact changes, including hiding and unhiding;
- setting the hidden-section PIN;
- text and location messages, and read receipts;
- marking notifications read and dismissing them.
Message drafts are saved on the device.
What needs a connection
Section titled “What needs a connection”Calls, search, language training, and the visa and arrival-registration forms.
When the server disagrees
Section titled “When the server disagrees”If the server rejects a queued change because the data changed in the meantime, the server version wins. Your change is kept on the device as a conflict and is not retried automatically: retry it or discard it.
Check what is waiting
Section titled “Check what is waiting”Open your profile → Offline data. There you find the Outbox (offline actions) list, any conflicts, the Automatic cleanup setting and the Clear offline copy now button.
Clearing removes cached data and any queued actions that have not synced yet from this device. Data on the server is not deleted.
